The Life of Lee E. Miller

Working on the Life of Lee E. Miller was both joyous and heartbreaking. Lee was battling end-stage cancer when he commissioned his biography. He was prepared for every interview and was eager to share his experiences aboard a Naval ship – a topic he had rarely discussed with any of his family members. Unfortunately, he passed away a few days before that interview could take place. Knowing how important the overall book was to him, his wife and children decided to continue the project and provided interviews of their memories of him, which I used as concluding chapters.
