The Story of Grace

For The Story of Grace, I was hired as editor and publishing consultant. It was a privilege to work on this Christian faith-based story of one woman’s journey through breast cancer. The author’s goal with the book was to use it as a fundraising tool for the non-profit organization she founded, Lump 2 Laughter. Because the book would be provided to newly diagnosed women, she wanted to include an Appendix full of medical-related information, including definitions of terminology, explanation of processes by physicians and more. This, and the desired reprint of the lyrics to a popular song, resulted in research to ensure accuracy and obtaining reprint permission from both major medical facilities and recording studios.
